Bed AND Breakfast
Today was my second time serving a wedding party, but this time, it was just Mom, Dad, brother and bride. They haven’t lived in the same state for years, so they asked to rent out the entire bed and breakfast for the weekend, leading up to the wedding. That way, it could be like their own home.
For some reason, the family’s attitudes and behaviors made it feel like the pressure was off — The bride came to breakfast in her pajama pants, and family members arrived throughout the day. Still, I conquered the day’s responsibilities, including refreshing their rooms, flawlessly.
I’m finally getting fast. It feels nice to be able to juggle laundry baskets, wine glasses and breakfast plates all at once. This also means getting out of work earlier now, but hopefully having everything down = new responsibilities.
